Working Together Day 2008
On 8 March the Chaplain was involved in a Working Together Day at Mildmay Infants School in Chelmsford. The day was an opportunity for parents of Deaf Children and those involved in teaching Deaf Children to meet and think about the needs of Deaf children. During lunch time the people had a chance to visit displays by various organisations involved with Deaf People including Chaplaincy. The picture shows Denis with the Chaplaincy Display. Mrs Stephanie Gillingham from the Chaplaincy Team also joined Denis at the display for a short time. Some people stopped to chat and others took away some of our new chaplaincy leaflets. There were displays by The National Deaf Children's Society, Hearing Dogs for The Deaf and many other organisations.
